About Scroll
Room for what remains.
Scroll is a Bible reading app project for iPhone and Mac. We want to bring reading into the small moments of a day through passages, notes and widgets.
This website follows the Lume visual direction: dusk landscapes, deep colors and ivory typography. Its demonstrations explore this direction; they are not screenshots of an App Store release.
How we approach our content
Guides are published by the Scroll editorial team. We distinguish practical guidance, app features and demonstrations.
Bible quotations name the book, chapter, verse and edition. A short passage is an invitation to read its context, not a definitive interpretation.
Product information is revised when features change. Update dates reflect meaningful changes to the text.
The journal has a full version in each language. We localize the text and references, not only the navigation labels.
Sources and references
The reading sample uses Almeida 1911 in Portuguese, the King James Version in English, Reina-Valera 1909 in Spanish, Louis Segond 1910 in French and Riveduta 1927 in Italian. Both Portuguese versions preserve the same historical Almeida 1911 text.
